Using the conceptual themes of light, space and symmetry, this photographic series references place and culture, architecture and design by positioning lampposts in the spotlight.
Lampposts are common objects that people pass by each day and rarely notice. This photographic series brings attention to these important structures in which we rely so heavily upon. Across regions, lampposts differ in design with some more elaborate than others; it is these unique characteristics that are presented and highlighted in Hatch’s exhibition.
