A one-night only event showcasing visual art and performance opens at 6pm on Thursday 27 July, hosted by the City of Melbourne over three locations; the University of Melbourne, Central City and Arts Precinct. Visitors can experience a range of artistic practices from exhibitions and displays featuring over 60 local and international artists to curator-led art walks, film screenings and music across a network of galleries, artist-run initiatives, museums and new spaces for discovery. Highlights include: ‘Blood’ by Jordan Eagles (US) at Science Gallery, The Other Film Festival at The Kiln, Arts Centre Melbourne, Cyrus Tang’s recent works at Arts West, and visiting international German artist Fabian Knecht’s Lecture Performance at 8-9.30pm at Forum Theatre Arts West.
