PORTAL is a community photography project that aims to capture the beauty and diversity of coastal life on the North West Coast of Tasmania. For ten years, PORTAL has brought together fleeting moments on a specific day and reflected how we find ourselves mirrored in one another’s narratives – this year’s day fell on the Spring equinox when daylight overtook darkness.
“PORTAL reflects how we find ourselves mirrored in one another’s narratives, contributing collectively to our understanding of this place,” says Convention and Arts Manager Geoff Dobson.
