Sally Ross

Sally Ross reveals a new large-scale artwork in this, her first solo exhibition in 15 years. Landscape (Two Trees) (2019) measuring 2.25 metres high is on show with 12 landscape paintings, which the artist says ‘celebrate a new painterly freedom.’

‘There are still the absolute classic, really strong greens and ultramarine blues. But you’ve also got a lovely looseness, with this new feathering technique and some other departures from previous landscapes in larger plains of white and softer pastels of pinks and blues,’ says Ross.
