Scott Chaseling’s current exhibition illuminates the foyer and gallery of Canberra Glassworks in a radiant arc of colour and light. A meticulous composition of multiple coloured glass-formed tubes and chain-links shift, change and evolve throughout the gallery evoking awareness to our relationship with colour; what colour symbolises and how it makes us feel. This body of work comes from 12 years of research and a commission for the Frauenau Glass Museum in Bavaria Germany, which used 75 coloured tubes.
