‘Shifting Senses’ is an exhibition that investigates experimental processes in contemporary ceramic art. By engaging with three curatorial concerns – a mark, a vessel, a scene – this exhibition focuses on the formation of new narratives addressing identity, the environment, process and possibility. ‘Shifting Senses’ is a collection of works that critically engage with a number of historical and modern art theories connected to a broader dialogue regarding ceramics role in contemporary art today.
Artists include: Ebony Heindenreich, Wayne Mcara, Sophia Nuske, Maria Parmenter, Sophia Phillips, Alison Smiles, Ulrica Trulsson, George Zacharoyannis. Curated by Megan Rainey.
