Melbourne-based artist and printmaker Sophie Westerman presents a series of limited-edition fine art prints focusing on architectural structures in the most minimal of forms. She explores the spaces and relationships between buildings and their facades by using copper etching plates in a variety of textures, shapes and sizes as building blocks to create an image.
‘I use image making as a medium for communicating thoughts and feelings which are difficult to achieve through real world interactions,’ says the artist.
