The exhibition brings together the work of Aboriginal artists from all over Australia, from the Tiwi Islands, Central Desert, Western Australia, Coastal Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. It draws attention to diverse practise of artists, working in perhaps the most ancient and natural medium of all being, clay.
The 2011 ICAA includes opportunities for the general public and Aboriginal arts students in the Shepparton region to share studio time with exhibiting artists, in addition to a cultural arts program delivered by local artists.
