The annual ‘BIFB Collection’ fundraising event is here and it’s red hot! Well, red dot to be precise.
The Ballarat International Foto Biennale (BIFB) is offering you the chance to own a significant contemporary photographic print from its exclusive 2014 Collection series, for the price of a $125 Red Dot.
This annual ‘BIFB Collection’ fundraising event, to be held at the Eleven40 Gallery on Sunday 31 August from 12-4pm, features 120 anonymous prints by some of the best-known and collectible photographers from Australia and overseas. This entertaining afternoon is full of surprises. You receive your pre-purchased red dot on arrival or purchase on the day, if there are any left. You can purchase as many red dots as you like. There are only as many red dots as there are prints in the collection, so everyone goes home with a print.
The afternoon commences with first ‘Collection print’ to be auctioned to the highest bidder then the selection process begins. The order in which your name is called is determined by selection process lottery and it’s then that you get to choose your print from those that remain available. It’s as easy as that!
