This exhibition arises from a friendship between these two artists and their travels together to create remarkable en plein air works in the beautiful mid-Pyrenees town of Alayrac, France.
These exquisite works conjure the allure of the French countryside and village environment, contrasting with the landscapes they have painted within Australia and New Zealand. Their unique aesthetic interpretations of the European landscape are sophisticated, romantic, inspired. The exhibition’s opening takes place on 23 August between 3-5pm.
