SALA Festival Director Penny Griggs said with a record number of exhibitions, the 2016 program cemented August as “visual art month” in SA, with art and cultural events to cater to all tastes, “SALA is the only festival in our state that focuses on local artists. August is the time to meet your local artists and view the world through their eyes. Rejoice in the 630 exhibitions and events celebrating South Australian artists and their art”.
