Tim Olsen Gallery

Tim Olsen Gallery can be found at Stand E17 and is showcasing a broad variety of artists’ work.

Paintings by Paul Davies and Andrew Taylor pull the viewer in to the space with their vibrancy of warmth and light which bridges architectural and abstract subject matter.

The sculptural works by Stephen Ormandy and Camie Lyons are centre points within the space, and work incredibly well together – balancing between organic and structural forms. Both resonate through to the paintings – Lyons’ work in front of a Sophie Cape painting creates a dialogue between the two mediums, and Stephen Ormandy’s work correlates between 2D and 3D, his use of colour and space linking two extremes of scale and spatial arrangement.

There’s a lot to see at Tim Olsen Gallery at MAF, and if you’re in Sydney make sure to visit Emma Walker’s upcoming exhibition from August 15 to September 2.
