Tom O’Hern: Suicidal Sex Marsupial

A collection of new ink and pencil drawings by Tom O’Hern imagine the territory between what is wild and tame. With dystopia (and an off-beat sense of humour) on the brain, the artist summons among many bizarre scenes; chained-up unicorns, feral garden gnomes, an artist falling apart doing a tax return, a brief moment of mysticism in the exotic plant section at the hardware store and, as he shared, “marsupials who literally screw themselves to death.”
