Van Gogh and the Seasons

With more than 50 paintings and drawings, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) delivers an unprecedented collection of Vincent van Gogh artworks in Australia, drawing upon the artist’s symbiotic relationship with the European environment and seasons. Featuring landscapes that were significant to his life, the gallery hopes to present a unique insight into van Gogh’s legacy, using a curatorial practice framed by his personal letters, and research into the artist’s fascination with literature and nature. On until 12 July.
