2013 is a big year for DACOU as the gallery celebrates its 20th anniversary of representing Indigenous artists from the Utopia communities of Irruljta and Atnwengerrp. To celebrate, DACOU presents the creme de la creme as selected by the gallery’s Director, Fred Torres.
Among the artists whose work will be featured are Emily Kame Kngwarreye, The Pwerle Sisters (Minnie, Molly, Emily and Galya), Barbara Weir, Gloria Petyarre, Nancy Petyarre, Anna Price Petyarre, Lizzie Pwerle, Freddy Purla, The Hunter Sisters, (Suzie, Jessie and Annie), Lindsay Bird and Greeny Purvis.
