Winsome Jobling: This Granular World

Darwin-based artist Winsome Jobling works across drawing, prints, and sculpture and is known for a deep connection with place and the natural world.

Works in This Granular World include handmade paper and drypoint speaking to a view of the world as not solid but comprised of tiny particles – clusters of shimmering dust motes. Nothing is still and all around us invisible matter forms the visible. Atoms, electrons, quarks, and magnetic fields whirl and collide and are the building blocks of everything – an infinite dance.
