Held annually at Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre (GYRACC), the Katherine Prize is the Northern Territory’s longest-running visual art award, with an open invitation to local visual artists working in all disciplines to submit their entries, including emerging and first-time participants.
Now in its forty-eighth year, the Katherine Prize will feature works from across the Northern Territory. Visitors at GYRACC will see numerous iterations of the crystal clear, turquoise Katherine Hot Springs, the unique flora, fauna and landscapes of the Territory and much more.
