in every room, an exhibition of new commissions and existing works, points to tragic political projects from around the world, drawing on each artist’s personal and communal histories. With works on show that invite an unravelling of contemporary complicities, complex histories confront us, connections between current and past systems of control are delicately traced, and timely questions around the role of the artist and creative practice in the current moment are pulled into focus.
