Selected from fifty-four finalist works, the biennial prize explores the relationship between art, environmental awareness and nature. On her win, Gorringe-Smith said: “Birds are our easiest wild animals to see and it is often through our birdlife that we gain a deeper connection and understanding of the environment.” Finalists are on show at National Centre for Environmental Art, Victoria until 8 March 2026.
