Works of Venezuelan-born, Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist Nadia Hernández often take the form of textiles, paintings, and multidisciplinary installations.
Expanding an ongoing project that includes recent works En todo tiempo (at all times), 2024 and El segundo verso (the second verse), 2025, in this exhibition Hernández draws on her own stories, Venezuelan cultural archives, and the diasporic conditions that shape her sense of belonging. Across an immersive textile collage, mural and soundscape, Hernández presents an evolving project centred on Venezuelan protest songs, musical traditions, and the complexities of connection and displacement.
