Gapu: The Story of Printmaking at Djilpin Arts

Emphasising the importance of art in the ongoing preservation of knowledge, language, and intergenerational memory, this exhibition looks back at the development of printmaking at Djilpin Arts – an Aboriginal owned and managed not-for-profit organisation operating on the traditional lands of the Bagala People of the Jawoyn Nation, located in Arnhem Land.

With the growth of Djilpin Arts itself also charted, through more than one hundred works, the exhibition collectively testifies to twenty years of artistic and cultural continuity, and collaboration.
