This exhibition is part of the prize pack for winning the ‘2014 WHO is LOOKING at YOU Cambridge Studio Gallery’s Portrait Prize’, of which Morgan was the recipient. For the past 12 years, Morgan has developed a signature style that uses eyedroppers and highly liquid oil paint to create large, textured paintings.
‘First View’ is an opportunity for Melbourne audiences to see a selection of Morgan’s portraits, landscapes, abstracts and nebula series paintings. The diversity in his work brings many surprises that is experienced differently in person to that of reproductions.
