Anne Edmonds: Light Echo

Edmonds considers light to be the most mysterious element in nature. ‘Light Echo’ is an exhibition of drawings and watercolour works that explore light as it shimmers and interacts with the timeless landscape of the Pilbara and the Kimberley.

Abstract facets of transparent light have the effect of seamlessly binding all the individual features in the landscape from magnificent gorges to hidden pools and waterfalls from ancient rocks. The transparency of shapes gives the viewer an insight into the cosmic energy of light in a pristine landscape from the artist’s unique perspective.
