Ana young is an interdisciplinary artist with a continuous and varied exhibiting record. She has taken part in group and solo shows that have showcased her installations, paintings and drawings.
Young shares a strong connection with the village of Hill End. The works in this exhibition act as remembrances of place, revisited and reflected. The artist contemplates the question, when does the painting reach its end? She explains that the painting is similar to a journey, it takes its own trajectory encountering a sequence of possibilities. The painting acts as a response to the mysteries out there.
