Angelina Ngal: Aharlper Country

In collaboration with Cooee Art, Sydney, Lauraine Diggins Fine Art presents an exhibition featuring the lyrical, delicately coloured large-scale artworks of Angelina Ngal, a leading artist from the Utopia region in Central Australia.

Ngal paints her grandfather’s country, Aharlper, capturing integral and significant ancestral and ceremonial ties in her intimate, ethereal landscapes. The Bush Plum, a prominent feature in her work, references geography, knowledge and memories and is often linked to important information relating to hunting, food gathering, or ceremony.
