Agent Bodies explores the fluid and porous boundaries of existence as seventeen international and Australian artists, working across a diverse range of media, share an interest in interrogating the various freedoms and constraints enacted upon bodies.
Curated by Mikala Dwyer and Drew Pettifer, the exhibition considers new propositions of what a body is, what it has been, and, perhaps most importantly, what it could be. Agent Bodies interrogates how human bodies, other bodies, and space between bodies are contextualised, and understood today.
