Galleries and art spaces open their doors to share with us a fusion of contemporary art and ideas from our diverse and vibrant arts community during ‘Art Month Sydney’. With something for everyone the enticing program of exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, studio visits, art at night, parties and art precinct tours offers up an invigorating art-fill, and is on from 6 to 29 March.
Festival highlights include: artist Fiona Hall at Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery, Iwantja Arts Centre artists Nellie Coulthard and Angkuna Baker at APY Gallery, ‘Kitty Simon and the Ladies of Lajamanu’ at Cooee Art Gallery, the ‘Sparks will Fly’ exhibition celebrating Artbank’s 40th anniversary, and an evening line-up at Parramatta Artists’ Studios.
