This is the second incarnation of a three-part exhibition series celebrating the contemporary art and culture of Far North Queensland. More than 100 emerging and established artists from Indigenous art centres across FNQ and the Torres Strait were invited to create artworks responding to the theme of ‘belonging’. Exploring new techniques and materials such as earth and dry pigments, fluorescent paints, digital film, and photography, the result is a rich and diverse collection of 400 artworks that represent the vibrancy of contemporary First Nations art from this region.
