In a dimly lit exhibition space we find ‘Between the Moon and the Stars’ with work from contemporary artists, ancient cultures and natural science collections reflecting on systems of belief from mythology to pop-culture, navigation, the beauty of our surrounds, dreaming stories and the history of stargazing – ultimately ‘the common impulse to find meaning in the night sky (and)… the effects of the moon and stars on animal and human behaviour.’
