‘Surface Tension’ is a collaborative project by photographer Birgit Neiser and painter Jules Forth. All proceeds from artwork sold is being donated to ‘Lou’s Place: A Women’s Shelter Helping Those in Need’ – a privately run centre that gives support to women who are in physical or emotional need, helping them rebuild their lives.
Both artists focus on subject matter of organic materials. While their practical approach to making pictures differs, both artists are driven by the depiction of texture and simple storytelling.
