This exhibition features new works from four Berlin-based artists that examine the semi-detached experience of the Internet and the ‘coldness’ of the digital image. ‘Cold Intimacy’ is curated by newly appointed Anna Schwartz Gallery Director, Melissa Loughnan.
The exhibition explores the culture of emotions in the age of the Internet and the coldness of the digital image while referencing the text ‘Cold Intimacies’ by Eva Illouz, a professor in sociology at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University.
