Davida Allen

Davida Allen has been painting for over four decades – her expressionist art style presents a continuous narration of her own reactions in the world. The works in this exhibition embrace the artist’s recurrent themes of life and family with a riot of colour and texture on the canvas – and today, depicting her role as a grandmother, a woman teaching her grandchildren and sharing her wisdom, wonder, humour and love at a quieter time in life.
