Desert Mob 2017

‘Desert Mob’ is an annual survey of Aboriginal art and culture in Alice Springs. A collective of 30 Desart-member art centres from the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia gather to present unique artworks by emerging and established artists living and working in remote desert communities from across the regions. Revealing new developments in contemporary Aboriginal arts practice alongside traditional and experimental works the exhibition includes; painting, sculpture, weaving, wood carving, ceramics, prints, photography, works on paper and multimedia.
