Melbourne-based artist and descendant of the Kuku and Erub/Mer people from Far North Queensland and Torres Strait, Destiny Deacon presents her first solo show in 15 years with the largest retrospective of her work to date in ‘DESTINY’.
Featuring over 100 works created across various artistic disciplines over three decades of her career, along with early video works and newly commissioned pieces, Deacon’s darkly comical views of the world bring important themes to the surface, which often exude a provocative sense of humour.
