Protest is a creative act

Protest is a creative act facilitates a conversation between women photographers across the decades, confirming that many of the issues addressed by women artists in the 1970s – around the body, the environment, national identity, sexuality and race – have not since been resolved.

The historical and contemporary works in this exhibition show, collectively, the good that can come from working together to advocate and agitate for something better.
