Guy Maestri: Outpost

Guy Maestri is one of Australia’s most championed artists and in 2009 was the recipient of one of the most prestigious art accolades in Australia, the Archibald Prize.

Maestri’s latest body of work has been made in response to time spent at Hill End, New South Wales. Continuing his investigation into the Australian landscape, Maestri’s large scale works embody the toughness and the vastness of this wide, brown land.
