Melbourne’s internationally renowned Australian Print Workshop (APW) will be hosting its highly anticipated major fundraising exhibition, ‘Impressions 2014’ on Saturday 29 November 2014.
In a celebration of the art of printmaking, over 150 of Australia’s leading contemporary artists and emerging artists have generously supported ‘Impressions 2014’ with original small-scale limited edition prints. These prints will be for sale at very special prices and are available for immediate collection upon payment, making them ideal Christmas gifts.
The artists include: Rick Amor, Jon Cattapan, Peter D Cole, Vicki Couzens, Emily Floyd, Graham Fransella, Shaun Gladwell, Brent Harris, Katherine Hattam, Laith McGregor, Chris O’Doherty (aka Reg Mombassa), Lisa Roet, Louise Weaver, John Wolseley, plus many more.
Their works represent a broad range of styles, subjects and preoccupations in contemporary printmaking. They also reflect all the processes available to artists at APW including etching, lithography, relief printing and more.
‘Impressions 2014’ enables the Australian Print Workshop to continue to provide the world-class printmaking facilities, exhibitions, education and other programs that have established APW as a significant and respected national centre for printmaking.
