James Tylor and Hayley Millar-Baker: Dark Country

‘Dark Country’ highlights first contact stories in Victoria and South Australia during the colonisation of South Eastern Australia. Exploring the impact that the British occupation had on the Gunditjmara people of South-Western Victoria and the Kaurna people in Adelaide in South Australia, this exhibition addresses the hidden historical stories from the time. These moments that have laid the foundation of our contemporary society are largely hidden within our nation’s histories.
