Kristen Coleman continues to explore cinema’s impact on our subconscious with this installation. The artist says that her inspiration is the feeling of a sensory experience interrupted by memory – something happening in your, physical or metaphorical, peripheral vision. She explains, “our lives emerge from the screen, entangled within a vast archive of cinema and when memory and cinematic landscapes blur together an interstice is created where a sense of place and the memory of light burns brightly.”
