Nandeebie* Dreemz

‘Nandeebie’ is a word that belongs to the Jandai language of the Quandamooka people (and is the name for the area now known as Cleveland). Honouring Country and the stories of first nation’s peoples from around the world, this initative brings digital art to the forefront with a group show and a mix of film screenings. Curator Tamara Whyte says “we transcend the ask to explain ourselves in opposition to others because we have the ability to dream, to see beyond what is brought before us from above and below. We hold the conversation and our agency within it.”
