Play Moves transforms the audience’s role from observer to participant. The exhibition invites us to step in, touch, move, weave, dance, build and embrace the works while leaving our mark with every action, making the art grow, change, and come alive. Use a mega loom to weave a new tapestry (Slow Art Collective); activate the sensor detectors of a tentacle orchestra and a cloud of digitally projected pixels (Tara Pattenden); step into the future as your physical and digital world morph into one mixed reality (Sai Karlen); partake in a technicolour demolition party (UnitePlayPerform); find a hidden party with dancing pot plants (Counterpilot); sink into a faux fur-lined bathtub/music booth (Michelle Vine).
