Daniel von Sturmer, Michael Prior, Laura Woodward, Simon MacEwan and Taree Mackenzie combine science, mathematics and their artistic practices for this new body of work. ‘Prime Movers’ examines cause and effect in relation to the exchange of energy between people and objects through individual engagement. Kinetic installations and action-based works explore elemental forces; gravity, wind and light to create obscure and playful outcomes.
