In ‘The way we see ourselves’, ten artists reframe the subject of ‘women’ in art, by reflecting on their own memory, dreams and experiences of being and reclaiming representation for themselves. Subverting ideas of femininity, while embracing the nuance of each story, the artists communicate personal narratives via painting, sculpture, drawing and photography from Jen Ahmad, Gemma Avery, Michelle Cawthorn, Louisa Chircop, Julia Flanagan, Nicole Kelly, Caterina Leone, Kiata Mason, Clare Thackway and Isabelle Wood.
