We are all connected to Campbelltown (one way or another)

Celebrating Campbelltown Arts Centre’s 30-year anniversary, this exhibition showcases the establishment’s diversity of culture and unique geographical landscape. Campbelltown’s history, place and people are considered through new commissions and existing works by artists who have a connection to the area. Highlights include Shireen Taweel’s recognition of Islamic culture in Australia in a suspended, semi-circular environment inviting visitors into the intimacy and physicality of prayer, and Danie Mellor’s four-panel photographic series responding to the population and ecology of space in the Macarthur region.
