Tom Moore: Glassorama-BioDrama! Diorama all the ding-dong-day!

Tom Moore’s hybrid sculptures balance whimsy with profound questions about the exploitation of the environment. Combining plant and animal forms with mechanical elements, Moore’s creatures exist in an imagined future where the natural world has evolved to keep pace with human-induced climate change. Some have sprouted wheels, others extra eyes, to remain mobile and vigilant in a hostile world. Delightfully non-conformist, Moore uses 13th century Venetian glass techniques to tell his contemporary fables. He presents his glass sculptures in theatrical dioramas, inviting us deep into his futurist dreamscape.
