Lindy Lee: Moon in a Dew Drop
Drawing on three decades of Lindy Lee’s work, showcasing painting, photography, sculpture, installation and public art, ‘Moon in a Dew Drop’ will be the most comprehensive survey of the artist’s practice to date. The Australian-born child of Chinese immigrants, Lee’s work expounds history, portraiture, and identity, and a focus on the philosophies of Taoism and Buddhism – exploring the connections between humanity and nature. Curated by Elizabeth Ann Macgregor OBE, highlights include Moonlight Deity, a new installation commissioned for the exhibition.

Eugenia Lim: The Ambassador
Eugenia Lim takes on new roles in uncovering the Australian-Asian narrative, drilling down into racial politics, the social costs of manufacturing and the role of architecture in shaping society. Her Mao-like character balances between truth and fantasy, traversing through time and cultures in ‘The Ambassador’, a 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and Museums & Galleries of NSW (M&GNSW) touring project. ‘In the end, to me, art is a way of imagining something different,’ says Lim.

Making Her Mark: Selected Works from the Collection
TarraWarra Museum of Art presents an exhibition of works by leading women artists from its collection, and, in doing so, reassesses their role in the constructs of art history. With a selection of works showcased alongside their male counterparts, new comparisons are made concerning imagery, composition and approach, removing the work of women artists from the confines of genre alone, overlooking precedent and influence to recognise their practices as a catalyst. Curated by Victoria Lynn, ‘Making Her Mark’ explores themes such as memory, landscape and abstraction.
