Bush Lines

Expressing our connections to the vast range of regional and remote landscapes in this country, Bush Lines draws from the collections of the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Tamworth Regional Gallery, where it is presented.

With journeys from Gundagai to Broken Hill, the Central Desert to the Torres Strait Islands, we see these places through the eyes of historical and contemporary artists including Shaun Gladwell, Lorraine Connelly-Northey, and the late Rosemary Laing. Through paintings, sculpture, video and photography, we are invited to step into the landscape and feel its presence.
