Curated by Sophia Cai – the gallery’s Artistic Director and CEO – and with mediums spanning ceramics, glass, installation, painting, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, and video, BLAZE returns with works by eight emerging artists based in the Kamberri Canberra region and beyond. Exhibiting artists engage with various themes, ranging from autonomy and identity to the significance of today’s algorithmic culture and its effect on socialisation.
