Concept, mastery, originality and technique are the characteristics of a truly great contemporary artist. This exhibition celebrates the discovery of these traits in the work of four artists-in-residence in Australia; Masahiro Asaka, Brian Corr, Mel Douglas and Jessica Loughlin.
These artists, from differing backgrounds, combine diverse cultural backgrounds, life experiences and artistic techniques with a common commitment to intellectual thought about their work, to originality, and striving for excellence in technique.
