Dale Harding: Current Iterations

For his largest exhibition to date Dale Harding (Bidjara, Garingbal, and Ghungalu peoples) presents new and recent works for ‘Current Iterations’. While it is a solo show the artist’s approach is informed by ancient artistic practice and living culture enmeshed with, but also outside the realm of art. Harding considers how cultural forms and objects have been dislocated from their origins by museums, and with members of his community he enshrines the vital power of culture, stencilling with mouth-blown ochre.
